Here is some advice:
Get @rolandsmartin.bsky.social and get some of the D9 (especially the Alphas, y'alls table looked like a GIANT unorganized mess) and GET a bigger venue.

Also ensure EVERYONE gets free food and drink. Had to waste 5 bucks at the event since drinks WEREN'T FREE.

The WORST part of the event:
The food.

How the hell do you have Mac and Cheese, Collard Greens (which was like Spinach), catfish, Fried Chicken, Waffles, undercooked scrambled Eggs and the BEEF was so undercooked, you couldn't even swallow it.

My final verdict:
1.5/10.

When the event got started, mind you, excluding the kids and the Volunteers, I was the only one under 30 at the event.

Thats a worrying sign as a black person. Most of the people were at least 35 and older.

So the event was supposed to start at 2. When I got there, the NAACP and 97.9 the beat were just setting up the venue.

They had Alphas, Kappas, Sigmas, the NAACP, Black Voters Matter, and several virually unknown candidiates there and the energy was really off. Like Off.
