#Votann Hearthkyn Pioneers done! These were difficult to build and tricky to paint, a lot of stuff going on. Haven't been able to use these well in gameplay but I love the rugged Hearthkyn look, tried to give it a weathered feel #40k #warhammercommunity

Had these stashed since last Xmas. Diorama pieces normally bug me; too many sub assemblies, but they were actually quite fun/quick to build and paint.

Day 3.
Finished building and magnetising all the bits.
The weapon magnets work well, but the back ramp ones are too weak.
Need to find a decent chunk of time to break out the airbrush.
Was going to part build more of it, but the way you have to build it didn’t allow.

Day 2.5
Had a bit of spare time after I took the eldest (back from uni for the weekend) to the cinema to watch Resident Evil (it’s not terrible).
Decided to smear myself in superglue, sharpie ink & toxic putty before dinner.
Magnetised the rear door & the pintle weapon.
An absolute ballache.

Got most of the hull done, along with the wheels.
Going to paint wheels and cockpit separate.
Might also magnetise the rear door so I can use the interior to store the spare magnetised weapon options.
