• Soybeans and Corn: Genetically modified ("Roundup Ready") soy and corn grown for animal feed, high-fructose corn syrup, soy protein isolates, and processed snacks absorb or carry heavy residues.

Many of my colleagues decline to eat food labelled as '#vegan' as "that's for #vegans, and I'm not a vegan".

How we tackle animal abuse through people's food habits needs more nuance. Our whole food system needs radical reform for the planet and all its creatures.

Today is my 48th Veganniversary. This is my pinned post for my 48th year as a #vegan. I stopped eating #animals at 12, when NO ONE agreed. I'm 69 today. Not a morsal of meat in 57 yrs. At 21, I was introduced to #veganism & instantly became one. I love being living proof that humans can be #vegans.
