@lourdes-localizes.bsky.socialWith midterms finally over, I had the time to cover a part of Tokyo Game Show (better late than never!😋)
Four points based on four demos: what made me keep playing, what confused me, what made me quit, and what made me wishlist!
Please give it a read 💖
@lourdes-localizes.bsky.socialFinally updated my Carrd website! (and also changed my pfp to match spooky season!
Now it's easier to see my translation and UX QA portfolios + jam projects! Check it out on this link⬇️
@lourdes-localizes.bsky.socialWrapping up a VERY busy month of editing, playtesting and the occasional commission!
September really said “you have free time? not anymore” 😭
October is looking even more interesting, though 👀
@lourdes-localizes.bsky.socialNow that my JLPT N2 exam is secured, I'm sharing my next goal!
Saving up for a Nintendo Switch 2 would help me reach a personal milestone while also expanding the platforms I can experience.
I swear the two 2s are a coincidence.
Follow me on Ko-fi if you'd like to see where this takes me!
@lourdes-localizes.bsky.socialQA misconception: “If your community likes the game, your UX is working.”
Community testing is valuable, but it comes with a built-in bias: they already know and care about your game.
Your fans can tell you what they love. New players can tell you what they don't get.
You need both.
