This Dock Shrimp has quite the feast! I'm not sure what animal this chunk of flesh is from... maybe it's eggs, who knows, but this shrimp will be eating for days!

Striped Nudis are an extremely common sight at Junkyard, but seeing so many cuddle puddles was new to me! It seemed as though most might have been fighting Pink Tritonia for a tasty Sea Pen meal, but maybe we stumbled upon some orgies as well?

This might be one of the best Grunty photos I've ever taken. Look at it's cute chin fluff! This was one of the smallest Gruntys I had seen in a while!

Pink Tritonia (Tritonia exsulans) season started at the end of June. I didn't realize how huge they are in comparison to the typical Tritonia we see year round! The one in the first photo is actively laying eggs!

Black Eyed Gobys are everywhere up here in the PNW, but appear quite dull to the naked eye. I love their pink hue and ability to just sit and chill on the bottom with their pectoral fins.

Leapard nudis have been historically hard to meter for, for me. Enjoy this little floofy booty in perfect focus!

More Marbled Shrimp (Saron_marmoratus)! This is a female, as evidenced by it's very large tufts of setae (aka... hairy legs)!

Hydroids for scale. This tiny moray was the perfect model to show that the Maldives isn't just for the big critters!
