Q9. Does the use of AI make you at all hesitant publish anything online? Or has it recently changed your though process about it? #TWSOchat

Q8. As I was reading up on some of the recent AI scandals involving authors, I saw an article that mentioned that ChatGPT has even been directed to start refusing requests to write in the same style as a particular author. Here's the link to that piece - futurism.com/artificial-i... #TWSOchat

A6. Yes, for sure. I guess it's more of an unregulated space. I wonder if it really matters though in some cases? Like do I really care that some non-fiction/instruction novels are AI written in the sense that I'd never buy them if I knew. But maybe everything then needs to be labeled? #TWSOchat

Q7. What do you think of AI detection tools? Have you ever used or tried one on your own work or someone else's work? #TWSOchat

A5. Also with Thélyson Orélien, I want to believe it's not true but with plagiarism accusations on top of the accusations of AI usage, it doesn't look good. #TWSOchat

A5. I have done some reading on a few of the recent cases. I can't believe that they made it as far as the almost ready to be published/published stage. What a way to ruin your literary career. It makes me wonder though about some already pub'd books that come out in the early years of AI. #TWSOchat

There should be some kind of note saying that they were written with the usage of AI assistance or something? I would have thought that Amazon would have some kind of detection in place but maybe everything is moving so fast they don't or won't ever if all it means is more $$$ for them? #TWSOchat

A3. I suppose all publishers will run any and all submissions through Ai to confirm they are NOT Ai generated. But I worry that just puts the work into the Ai Large Language Models.

Did he self publish them and sell them online? Have you looked at any of them? #TWSOchat It seems like there are more non-fiction books, instruction manuals etc. written with AI than fiction at the moment.
