Why hasn't America impeached #TrumpWarmonger as yet?

I'm a Brit in England and the American voting system is extremely confusing to me.

I sincerely hope it means #TrumpWarMonger can be impeached and imprisoned before that lump of 💩 starts #WorldWar3!
