A spectacular trompe-l'œil mural transforms a crumbling urban wall into an impossible beefcake fantasy. A scrawny, bespectacled young adult with messy brown hair, an oversized gray T-shirt, baggy shorts, and battered sneakers gazes into an enormous, dusty, gilded mirror. Staring back is his outrageously JACKED alternate self: a towering, shirtless, super-heavyweight MASS MONSTER with mountainous traps, boulder-sized shoulders, enormous pecs, freakishly swollen arms, deeply carved abs, thunderous thighs, and colossal calves. Wearing matching glasses, shredded black shorts, and sneakers, the musclebound behemoth radiates raw, unapologetic masculine power. Exploring trompe-l'oeil as a spatial construction: a real figure photographed inside a painted world, with the body and floor aligned from a fixed viewpoint. This result drifted from the plan, but this accident was so interesting it had to stay.
