@crosspollytaupe.bsky.socialWas reminded of this by a question in the jasmine.4.t discord, so for #TransMusicMonday, have the second video for "Woman," consisting of fan-submitted clips performing the song (also consider the first video, her 1st E dose)
🎵 'Cause I know who I am
And I understand
That I am in my soul a woman 🎵
@mallorysinn.bsky.socialArtist: Forestine
I really encourage people to check out some of their sets from Drone Days past and present, as part of the Earth Modular Society. This has been one of the cooler music projects happening in the cool parts of the internet that still exist.
@mallorysinn.bsky.socialArtist: Forestine
Where to start?
Their album "Mending" is great to just put on and let it envelop you as you do crafts, vibe with friends, or sit around a bonfire.
@mallorysinn.bsky.socialArtist: Forestine (they/them, @[email protected] )
Why?
Forestine has been a pillar of the electronic music community on Mastodon / Fediverse for years, and their music not only really brings on an ambience, but has great texture to it too.
@bloodless-girls.northsky.socialTime for another #TransMusicMonday !
This week's highlight is SweetMelk from Champaign-Urbana, an emotive and catchy queer punk group.
I fell in love with them when I first heard "Play House," an absolute earworm on their jam-packed album of the same name. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cCx...
@mallorysinn.bsky.socialArtist: Bloodless Girls
Bloodless Girls has more up on bandcamp too, and it resonates in that same place for me as Daniel Johnston's music. Something moving that I can't always put into words.
@mallorysinn.bsky.socialArtist: Bloodless Girls
Where to start?
The music is moody and feels like what I mean when I say get out there and make art for yourself and what matters is seeing it through.
The music video for J. Sheridan Le Fanu uses their limits to do more, beautiful.
@mallorysinn.bsky.socialArtist: Bloodless Girls
Why?
Over the next few weeks, I want to feature musical artists on Masto and the fediverse. And Bloodless Girls has been out here helping share great music by trans artists on TransMusicMonday with me for a while now.
@mallorysinn.bsky.socialArtist: ILWAG
A song that's a personal favorite is "i was feeling down, then i found a nice witch and now we're best friends." It was one of the first where ILWAG's approach to sampling and sound design really grabbed me.

@mallorysinn.bsky.socialArtist: ILWAG
Where to start?
She just came out with a new album! It's a soundtrack for an indie game called "Half Step Princess"
@mallorysinn.bsky.socialArtist: In Love With A Ghost (Lou, she/her)
Why?
The best description I've heard of ILWAG is that it sounds like the love of your life just sat down nearby in a cafe and you don't know it yet.
@bloodless-girls.northsky.socialVolume 1 of Always Here came out last year and features even more great poetry and music, plus a couple noise tracks. alwaysherecomp.bandcamp.com/album/always... #TransMusicMonday
@bloodless-girls.northsky.socialThis #TransMusicMonday I'd like to highlight Always Here, a compilation of trans and nonbinary artists that benefits Iowa Trans Mutual Aid. There's some absolutely wonderful music and poetry on here (and one of my songs as well) alwaysherecomp.bandcamp.com/album/always...
@mallorysinn.bsky.socialArtist: Jepyang (they/she)
Also, I have a strange love for getting weird with Christmas media and "Carol of the Merry Ding Dong" gets funky with the beep boops on some very familiar melodies.

@mallorysinn.bsky.socialWhere to start?
We use the song "Edible Cartoons" from the album "Jagnype," and I would suggest giving the whole thing a listen because it's become part of my regular rotation for instrumental electronic music with the right kind weird in it.
@mallorysinn.bsky.socialArtist: Jepyang (they/she)
Why?
I want to shout out our fediverse friend @[email protected] for letting us use their music on AGT! Also, her stuff is definitely underappreciated!
