Today's #TradingPostInn caption has someone coming "Back Home Again"!

A young woman with long dirty-blonde hair sits on a wicker chair, eyes closed and lips pursed in delight, holding a glass up. She's wearing a yellow cami dress and a wristwatch.

In the caption, she waxes rhapsodic - "Oh Em Gee, you guys, this is even better than I remembered! Like, there are amazing restaurants in California, but you can't find a good bangers & mash anywhere, let alone anything as totally GOATed as this!"

Her friend Tommy chuckles, telling "Martin" that she doesn't have to do an American accent or act the bimbo, since they know who she is.

She shifts to a British accent and says "I say, a bimbo! That's just not cricket, chaps, not cricket a-tall!", then giggles when her friends stare in disbelief, saying that having been Terri 24/7 for the past three or four years, she guesses she not only stopped doing an accent and started having one, but just fit in rather than trying to fit in.

The others feel a bit guilty, since they'd all gone to the Trading Post Inn four years ago and encountered its curse which turns its guests into the previous group, with the four middle-aged Englishmen suddenly taking on the appearance of four sorority sisters from a college in California. Fortunately, they could support each other until they could reverse the curse by staying at the Inn in reverse order the next year - except for the original Terri, who had something come up, and asked Martin the huge favor of staying on, since he seemed trustworthy and who knew what some random person would do if they suddenly had her shape and identity? But then it happened the next year, and before they knew it, Martin was graduating, Terri couldn't imagine leaving her young family, and multiple people in Martin's life were leaving it a mess, so this was just their new lives now.

She still got homesick, so when Clive said his company had a visa for someone with "Terri's" qualifications, she jumped at it, and she figured folks would think she was local again in six months.

Today's #TradingPostInn caption would like to talk about "Anything Else!"

Four young women stand together, dressed in revealing outfits, smiling and laughing. The second from the left, who has long blonde hair and is wearing a sparkling floor-length skirt and a matching tube top, looks a little less amused as she says "Look, I'm glad you're all having fun getting your new holes filled, but could we talk about something else? I went to the Trading Post Inn with my father, not my girlfriend!" The girl next to her, a brunette wearing a short brown dress and showing off the most cleavage, responds "Oh my god, really? That's crazy, Felix, especially since Lisbeth's boyfriend is a stud, and all their pictures online have them making out! How are you going to keep up appearances for the next year?"

100% agree. It's been a terrific year to be a #TradingPostInn reader. To your point further down the thread, I do think it's a reflection of multiple years paying off, which is one of the unique strengths of the blog/real-time epistolary format.
