#Tilcayo #Biodiversidad #Ciencia

Meet my new tilcayo merfur oc, Tikal!
She used to be a pirate before becoming a mer. She loves exploring shipwrecks and still helps her old crew get sunken loot!

Of course, the recent discovery of the tilcayo was interesting, but there is a lot more to talk about when discussing tiger cats! So have a little comparison:

The first new cat species in more than 100 years was discovered in the Yungas forests of Bolivia. Mistaken for a stray by the person who found it, it's the only living member of the Tilcayo cat family. What a beauty! 😍 🐈‍⬛ 🐾
