Patrice Martinez's Carmen is honestly worth the price of admission. She's so pretty & charming, & kind of made #ThreeAmigos tolerable for me, in truth.

I think I called her Patricia before; it's Patrice. Great!

Otherwise? Not one fucking thing in this #movie to recommend it. HORRIBLE 🤢

#FilmSky 🎥

Booooooo fuck this horrible movie, except for Patrice Martinez, who was awesome and honestly worth watching even if you hate everything else that happens (like I did).

She looks *gorgeous* in that blouse. I love it, & thank goodness, bc we see a lot of it. It never gets old. That fully-buttoned high-neckline is so flattering, & she kind of looks like a cute, frilly power ranger with that ruffled shoulder bit.

Idek why, I just love it 🤩

#FilmSky 🎥 #ThreeAmigos 🧵

I really do love it. Every scene I notice it, I'm like, "Omg, she looks so cute!" And she always did!

Martin Short is so charming and great. None of this is his fault.

#FilmSky 🎥 #ThreeAmigos 🧵

I'm enjoying his work in this; but it just doesn't add up to anything good or valuable or worthwhile, bless his heart. A herculean, losing effort from one of the all-time greats, Martin Short. What a dogshit film this is, good grief.

Okay, I can't front and have to give credit: #ThreeAmigos has now made me laugh one, single time.

It's a well-crafted joke. Ned's been up there for ages, building tension, and then we get "Are gringos falling from the sky?!" and the way the dummy hits that table is fucking hysterical 🤣

#FilmSky 🎥

"What is going ON around here? Are gringos falling from the sky??" Ahhhhhh, I'm already a little tickled, bc I know what's about to happen (bc it was set up properly)...

It's well edited, too. The timing of this little sequence was competent and paced out in a sensible fashion, so this all works. One thing has worked for me in this movie; two, I guess, if you count Patricia Martinez's Carmen, who I think is awesome and a lot of fun.

That was a good joke. One good joke so far.

@iamkaymichelle.bsky.social Oct 10, 2026, 3:55 PM

This makes zero sense, isn't funny and I hate it 🤔

But on the plus side, it used up a ton of the runtime, accomplishing absolutely nothin... wait, that's still negative.

Yeah, there is no upside to this, I guess! It was just a waste of Steve Martin's time and mine.

#FilmSky 🎥 #ThreeAmigos 🧵

Booooooo I hate all of this, and it luxuriates in itself, too. It thinks it needs to pace this out bc the audience is going to be ROLLING in the aisles for most of. Nope! I'm sitting quietly and angrily at Panera just hating this fucking movie.

I will confess to you: I skipped the campfire song. I looked, though, and that scene is SIX MINUTES LONG! Do you know what you can do in six minutes? Under optimal conditions, I could conceive 2-3 children in that time. It's an eternity.

So is this. This takes FUCKING FOREVER and it is NOTHING. And so much Rube-Goldberg-level thought and set design went into setting this up, and apparently nobody ever stopped to think: is any of this funny or worth doing at all? Does this help us tell a story?

This is a BULLSHIT MOVIE, and if you still have love for it, watch it again. You'll be ashamed of yourself, I reckon.

Three Amigos is an all time comedic classic and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. We brought back Benny Elledge & Renegade for this one because they threatened to end our friendship if we didn’t. So much fun! #ThreeAmigos #NewEpisode #Photoshop
