and That is Very True!

and That is Very True!
If we hope to impress God with our words and actions, we're wasting our time. His love for us is both constant and eternal; therefore, what we say and do must be in respond to what God has already done. #thoughtfortheday
The sun is setting, but your to-do list isn’t. Sound familiar? You don’t have to finish everything to have lived today well. Do what you can with love, ask God for patience, and surrender what remains unfinished. Tomorrow brings another opportunity for grace. #ThoughtForTheDay St. Eugene de Mazenod
Our God has absolute power and authority. He controls the ultimate destiny of the universe he created. And since he loves us, of whom should we be afraid? #ThoughtfortheDay
When the challenges ahead seem bigger than your strength, don’t let fear have the final word. Pray. Take the next step. Count on God’s help. Faith doesn’t promise an easy road, but it gives us courage to keep going, knowing we never walk alone. #ThoughtForTheDay inspired by St. Eugene de Mazenod 🙏✨
We agree 100%

My pet hate; these people given airtime to go through their mental gymnastics relating current issues to their sky fairies. My #ThoughtForTheDay is invariably ‘’why don’t you €>*^ off!’’
It's difficult to pry ourselves loose from the past. We try to recreate successes and carry failures for the rest of our lives. But when we relax, put the past in its place and allow God to prepare us for the future, we become more pleasing to him and to ourselves. #ThoughtfortheDay
It’s easy to notice the faults of others while overlooking our own. Before judging, look within. Take responsibility for your growth, but offer others patience, understanding, and grace. Be honest with yourself and gentle with others. That’s where compassion begins. #ThoughtForTheDay St. Eugene
and That is a Very Good Plan
#ThoughtfortheDay
You don't get to be who you are by forgetting who you were.
That may mean acknowledging some distasteful things, but they are equally important. You learned from that.
Keep learning.
Ever felt too lost, unworthy, or broken for God’s love? Jesus doesn’t turn away. He comes looking for us, lifts us when we fall, and holds us close to His heart. No one is beyond God’s mercy. Let that same compassion guide how you treat others. #ThoughtForTheDay inspired by St. Eugene de Mazenod 🙏✨
Hearing advice is a no-lose situation. If the advice is sound and helpful, our decisions improve, and we grow. But if it's not, we're not bound to accept or to follow it. #Thoughtfortheday
And that is Very True!
BUT it sure will save you a lot of time when you have a couple of others.
“Only God can save me, and I calmly wait for him.” (Psalm 62:1, CEV) Genuine faith involves patience. Although we'd like God to intervene immediately, we may have to wait. And this we can do, because we trust that our eternal destinies are in his gracious and merciful hands. #thoughtfortheday
Faith is always a decision. We have the power to trust the Lord. Of course, after we decide to trust, I believe that worship and obedience naturally follow. #thoughtfortheday #faith
