HPPA's Mariana captured this elegant image, framed by branches, of the first bird she spotted at Hawaiʻi Volcanoes NP after we hired her just recently. She said she was excited, even though the white-eye is a non-native bird. As she said: it's still a cutie!

📸 HPPAer Belinda framed these coconut palm reflections in an exposed tilapia fish nest on the side of one of the ancient fishponds during a lovely late morning at our partner Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park. Thanks, Belinda! 🌴
