Not bad at all. Falls somewhere between the previous two albums. Another week of Yes to come.

I liked this one better than yesterday’s “Open Your Eyes”. Decent songs. Less filler. My kind of Yes record.

Another leeeengthyyy album. Some great tracks but some filler too. Not as disappointing as Union tho.

A compilation of only the studio tracks from Keys To Ascension 1 & 2. It’s fine, but I was checked out of Yes by this point. Still pressing on!

Much better than their previous album. This one is underrated in their discography.

Too much filler on this one. The Rabin tracks are good, but it could’ve been cut down to 7 songs and it would’ve been better. 14 tracks was just overkill. Disappointing.

While not as good as the prior album, it’s still a strong album. A more commercial product without being corporate rock. I really enjoy this one.

Owner Of A Lonely was on the radio and MTV simultaneously. A juggernaut of an album, but is it better than the next one?🤔

“Today, the part of lead singer will not be performed by Jon Anderson and will instead be played by Trevor Horn”

The results are good!

I enjoy this one a lot. Don’t Kill The Whale and Release, Release are rockers. Onward is a sweet lullaby. Album cover is weird tho. Should’ve called it Tomato Crotch.

When your song is divided into sections and one of them has a “[Part II: Battle - Instrumental]”, then you know it’s absolutely 💯 prog.

The music/production is excellent from top to bottom, but had to listen to it 3 times just to interpret the lyrics. Highfalutin and yet…it’s prog!

Astral Traveller is OK, but other tracks are spotty. The orchestra is good, but unnecessary. The middle drags. Not terrible but a sophomore slump for me.

Musically, it’s all over the place. Jazzy, folky, and proggy rock n roll. Still, it’s a pretty solid debut. It only gets better from here!
