Last night I watched #TheWargame from start to finish. I’m amazed more people aren’t talking about it. Perhaps the subject feels too alarming, but for me it is a must watch.

Politics aside the programme shows how fast events could escalate to nuclear war, something I've been on about for years☢️ xx

I have been watching #thewargame on Sky - facinating docudrama on escalation to war between UK and Russia. But they very very heavyhanded message that UK ( and all of Europe) must start spending load of dosh on the militarty. It left me wondering who pulls the strings on our 'entertainment' 1/2

Time to catch up on Sky1's The Wargame #TheWargame

Loved #TheWargame
Just finished it. Think I'm gonna watch it for a second time.

The preview for the final episode is not great.

I’ll reserve judgement until I’ve seen it in its entirety, but I predict more technical errors.

#TheWargame

So they did send out an emergency alert to people’s phones, but of course there’s nowhere for people to take shelter.

#TheWargame

So notwithstanding the fact that our incompetent political leaders are sat in COBRA not warning the general public; they’re also sat there above ground unless we’re meant to think they’re underground?

So all these inbound missiles pose a threat to them as well as everyone else. #TheWargame

Watching episode 3 of #TheWargame

And I’m not sure I can survive this nonsense, but here goes…

"Now I bow to no one in my admiration for Lord Gove, and indeed backed him for the Tory leadership, but truth be told Michael can barely steer a car, let alone the ship of state"

Nice representation from ICCS of the Recognised Air Picture (RAP) that includes Tracks from over in Europe.

Can I face episode 3?

Maybe tomorrow. 🙈

#TheWargame

So while #TheWargame cuts to shots of social media representing members of the British public, Gove and his cronies (and the mock Ops Room) do nothing.

No warning to anyone, no Emergency Alert on people’s phones, no sirens and just stupid blank expressions.

Or they came from a submarine.

It’s all a mystery which hopefully will be explained in episode 3 of #TheWargame

Cue dramatic music.

They even launch whilst submerged.

How do these people rise to high political office? And Kim Darroch is in the room! He served as UK National Security Adviser FFS. Why hasn’t he said anything?

#TheWargame

youtu.be/BOonxuKWUD4?...

Here’s Penny Mordaunt chipping in.

The deterrent is at sea you halfwit, I don’t know if she’s parroting this nonsense from a script or she believes what she’s saying. Gove is the same.

Nuts.

#TheWargame

Can’t believe she held a reserve commission in the RN.

Resuming after a break for dinner.

So it’s bonkers time again with #TheWargame

It true we don’t have many T45 destroyers available, so according to the scenario they’re planning to stick it by Faslane. Ostensibly because it’s home to the nuclear deterrent. Except it isn’t.

I’d talk to Brussels.

But the script is heading down the path to Washington.

#TheWargame

Love it.

They’ve roped in George Robertson as NATO Secretary General. I’d have preferred a European just for the added fun. 🤩

#TheWargame

You can’t assume NATO are going to respond, unless you tell them and you need to request a raising of the alert level via SHAPE.

Are the UK going to invoke Article 5?
