"And when the priest intoned the hymns, and the choir joined in, and the organ began to play, the girl thought there was nothing more beautiful than her red shoes"

Ballerina catches the eye of the director and becomes his muse- until she falls in love with another man. A beautiful looking film with some really crazy dance numbers. Impressive, but a laughable ending.
