Probably the most Emile-coded textpost of all time?

#TheLeftEye #textpost #indiedev #vn #lgbtq

A screenshot of The Left Eye, a visual novel. No UI is shown. A young man wearing a fur coat over a tuxedo is in the center of the screen. He is short, chubby and has curly hair, and has one hand touching his chest in a slightly camp gesture. He looks incredibly smug. Behind him is a darkened NYC street. A tumblr text post by the user deadshrike has been superimposed over the screenshot, and it reads: "i'm like if a femme fatale was a weird little guy"

The first of a few inexplicable Halloween cosplays for #TheLeftEye - first, Emile! Some of @team.hauntedtrumpet.com are Vocaloid enjoyers.

#ScreenshotSaturday ft. our new UI! Jackie thinks Emile's blackmail material is just a little bit too convincing, but maybe you can help him talk his way out of it?

A screenshot from The Left Eye, a visual novel. A photo is being held up by a hand, and it depicts two men standing on a boat with Bedloe's island behind them. The one on the left is short and chubby with curly hair (Emile) and the one to the right is taller and thinner (Alex). Emile is leaning on Alex, eyes closed, smiling, and Alex appears to be shocked and recoiling a little. The dialogue box takes up the lower quarter of the screen and shows the speaker is Jackie, who is offscreen. She is saying: "You look way too cozy together". There are three dialogue choices displayed in the center of the screen: - "What are you talking about?" - "Good angle, right?" - "That's the point."A screenshot from The Left Eye, a visual novel. #wip #art #gameart #thelefteye

a photo of an ipad with procreate running. there is a half finished CG, in monochrome, of two men having some sort of romantical confrontation in a forest setting. the picture in picture reference panel is open to a photograph of a hemlock tree

#TheLeftEye is kind of one long weird protracted date (what with Emile being a romance scammer), but this particular evening got a rare truthful reaction out of him 💙

Also still 30% off in the #steam autumn sale!

A screenshot of a visual novel, The Left Eye. Two men, one short and chubby with curly hair, one taller and slimmer, are standing together on the balcony of the Statue of Liberty's torch. They both look awestruck. A text box covers the lower quarter of the screen. It shows a line of narration that reads: "New York City's skyline is a bright stab into the dark horizon, refusing to cede the sky to the gleaming stars over New Jersey and the Atlantic Ocean." The whole image is monochrome with a cool blue tint.

It's Autumn!!! Which means sales and also a #devlog!

#TheLeftEye is 30% off on #steam and #itch, so you can grab it and curl up with a queer crime caper #visualnovel on a cold evening :)

More sneaky peeks at episode 4 of #TheLeftEye for #wishlistwednesday! It’s our most complicated episode so far with more branching and choices but we’re still aiming to release it later this year!

yet another WIP for a (romantic???) CG for #thelefteye! episode 4 has a lot more branching and therefore a heck of a lot of CGs 🫠 #art #vndev

a very rough digital sketch of two men in a loosely implied forest setting. the shorter one is leaning back against a tree, looking surprised, and the taller one is leaning forward with an arm against the tree, he has a serious expression and his holding a flower in his other hand. the whole thing is in pastel colors, pink, lilac, pale blue/green

Emile is DEFINITELY NOT falling for the mark, he just really enjoys his job 👀

Upcoming episode 4 CG by @sansorganes.hauntedtrumpet.com!
