i havent forgotten about charmi!! i saw him in tsukumo so here is (+tsukumo n jyugo scene like charmingstar)

So. I've already talked a bit about Chapter 999 of JJBA dropping this November, Chapter 42 of Part 9, and how cool that is bc of the repeated numerical theme of 9 in this story.

...But like. If Chapter 1000 releases in December, it'll be the 40th Anniversary of the series.

"Silence" Day 7 of Jojotober is a Jojolands version of Shizuka Joestar checking in on what's going on in Hawaii for the Speedwagon Foundation. I named her stand The Silence based on the song by Manchester Orchestra. #fanart #watercolor #Jojotober #Day7 #thejojolands #art

Part 9 has been super consistent with making every October a break month.
In 2023 it was so Chapter 9 would release in November, fitting the numerical theme of the part.

But why wasn't this one?

Because it means Chapter 999 of the overall series will release on a November, too.

So... Assuming Part 9 will be ~100 Chapters long, and we are ~40% of the way in, I decided to go through every previous Part and compare their progress at the 40% mark

It has honestly done a lot to put the series in perspective

funny doodles with these lil buns heh

Charming Man is fun to draw, doing the little floaty sandy skin bits from Bigmouth Strikes Again is aesthetically appealing to me

Featuring a fan design for if his Stand ever took on a Stone Free-style humanoid form. I'm pretty happy with the concept, honestly.

While I am a total huge supporter of big bad Hacca Howler and idk what his role would be if he Weren't atm

I think the US government and military as a symbolic force of American imperialism and militarization feels like a perfect fit for the Hawaiian setting

🏝️ The JOJOLands 💰

Le tome 8 arrivera enfin en librairie le 26 novembre !
En plus, il y aura une édition collector qui comprendra un super standee de Jodio 😍

I decided to get this one posted EARLY.
Chapter 41 of The Jojolands bingo card.
We're at a super frenetic part of the story where LOTS of shit is happening at once and LOTS of it can go in Wildly different ways. I think it rules. Part 9 has SUCH a good sense of pacing and tension

Realizing that I've never shown off my little Jojo's Bizarre Furventure art before

Still really happy and feeling solid with the animal picks, I'd love to draw more of them and redraw some panels sometime

I do still sorta wish Jodio's Gang/Team Jodio had a long ranged Stand with em, either for recon or just In General

I think they're the only team in the Entire Series to not include a single long ranged Stand

This is why the Light Rod Stand's user will join the team, trust me-
#jjba #thejojolands

My personal "this won't happen but I can believe" name for Mx John Rod is Witchy Woman by The Eagles

- returning musician from Act 1 like Point Blank Seal
- some of the lyrics line up in simple ways
- good song :]
- would be rly funny if the stand was Specifically a woman
