My great-grandfather, Andrew Murray Robertson, kept a diary through WWI, Feb 1915 to Dec 1918. He enlisted as a gunner, was commissioned, won the Military Cross with the Canadian Engineers, and was wounded twice. Diary and letters, day by day: robertsondiary.com
