@jamesdramac.bsky.socialI think the practical distinction for me is this:
If someone said they didn’t like historical dramas & asked me for a good modern drama, I’d maybe suggest #TheEarlySpring, #TheFirstFrost, #Agency or #LoveScout - I wouldn’t suggest #ThisThrivingLand or #ArsenalMilitaryAcademy ☺️

@jamesdramac.bsky.socialHaha 😅, I vaguely remember you taking a dislike to #TheFirstFrost - I think it’s because you found the ML exhibited stalker-like behaviour, no?
And I don’t think you even attempted #TheEarlySpring 😂
It’s interesting how differently we each react to different shows ☺️ - but thats also the fun of it
@jamesdramac.bsky.social(Although I shouldn’t make too many assumptions - lots of guys, including me!, have enjoyed #WhenIFlyTowardsYou & #TheFirstFrost etc 🙂)
@jamesdramac.bsky.socialYes - these are also cool recommends 👌
I can see how #TheFirstFrost - or say, #HiddenLove - could be a marvellous beginner’s drama for certain people
It’s just that the particular person I had in mind when I posted about this, is a guy 🙂 - so he may not gravitate towards this kind of show 👍
@zhangrei.bsky.socialIt depends, I recommend #WhenIFlyTowardsYou to my niece.
But if they were adults, probably #TheFirstFrost, #ThePrisonerOfBeauty or #ShadowLove
