#TheDragonblood: Negatives are phrased with lį before the verb.
Igū peisłę́ls ilį̀. "I eat fish."
Igū peisłę́ls lį ilį̀. "I don't eat fish."
Lį is also used as the word for 'no' in answering yes/no questions.

#TheDragonblood: Not really. Indeed, both Aimetor and Felix were men in earlier drafts, Aimetor in the first 2/4 drafts and Felix in the first 3/4, and the changes did not significantly alter the story.
#TheDragonblood: There is no gendering of clothing in Nemoria, beyond what adjustments would need to be done to match body proportions.
Class distinctions might exist, but I don't think there'd be laws about it.
#TheDragonblood: Well, I've been discussing the Defenders of Fate this month for belated #Juniplex. Their assassination work is very much illegal in Nemoria.
#ThroughTheCracks: People make their own guns and sell them on the black market in the ALCEFS.

#TheDragonblood: Healing magic is pretty OP in Nemoria. A well-trained healer can cure even near-fatal injuries in seconds.
To cure lost limbs, material does need to supplied to replace the missing limb, though. Often leather is used for flesh and ivory for bone.
Felix: Can I be a bat, but like, one that's been crossed with a snake, that's long and scaly and--
Felix, you're just describing a dragon, aren't you?
Felix: Yes, and?
#TheDragonblood: I am really bad at worldbuilding changes in culture over time and between regions, so mostly Nemoria is, as it stands, a static monoculture, but that's not necessarily how I want it to be.
#Conlangity 18
#TheDragonblood: Draconoidic uses prepositions rather than postpositions. We've already seen a good list, so I'll keep it to the grammar of how they're used.
#TheDragonblood: The standard currency of Nemoria is magic from filled charge-stones, or sometimes the filled charge-stones themselves.
Some work may be contract work, some not. It's quite possible they have banks of some sort, but I haven't worked out the details.
#Juniplex 18
#TheDragonblood: The Land of Souls is frequently used for communication in Nemoria, but there are several limitations that make it not the best for the the Defenders of Fate's purposes. Some noncritical communications may still happen through it, though.
#TheDragonblood: Felix is fairly convinced Sabrina isn't just performing a magic trick.
#InReverse: You get two half-matching snippets, today.
👻Trickles or retreats!🍬
#TheDragonblood: Felix thought about what costume they would do a month or two ago, but likely by the time Halloween comes around, they'll have forgotten to prepare anything.
That can still be avoided, though. There's still time.

#TheDragonblood: Nemoria fashion involves a lot of dresses. If someone's wearing trousers, that's a pretty clear sign they're a foreigner.
#TheDragonblood: Healers are there to cure injuries. They also tend to offer body modification, but that's less important for today.
#Juniplex 17
#TheDragonblood: Assassins receive their assignments from seers, with particular targets to take out.
Seers use scrying to determine who are the people who are likely to mess with time.
#TheDragonblood: There are farmers that handle food production. Special crops and livestock include magic ferns and mammoths, respectively, but a lot of the same things we have here are also grown.
I think I had some worldbuilding done for my world from #TheDragonblood before I started writing stories in it, but also the world has be overhauled so many times since then, often as I'm writing, that I'm not sure how much it counts.
#Conlangity 16
#TheDragonblood: Draconoidic, like Nemorian, doesn't use infinitives. Where we would use one, it conjugates the verb.
#Juniplex 16
#TheDragonblood: A Defender of Fate must attend speeches by our charismatic leader. The assassins have drills to do to train and maintain their skills.
It's possible tasks like preparing food and such are rotated, or perhaps they have dedicated staff for them. I haven't decided.
