織りに層がある生地は、切り口近くに針が入るとどうしても激しくほつれる。
薄い層でも繊維の細ければ派手にほつれるし、
厚い層なら表にない思わぬ色がほつれで出てくることがある。
この「ほつれ」をどう扱うか？？

自分はあまり背景を入れない。
生地や糸は実在感が強いので、背景まで作りこむと前面にいる動物が沈むから。

なのに、なかなか効果が出てこない。生地が強いからだ。
困ったな。
「刺繍は刺しすぎてはいけない」を鉄則としているのに。
火事場というのはいろいろな想い、念が飛び交うところだった。
燃え盛る炎に何もできないのに、不思議と簡単に立ち去れない。
異様な体験だったけど、鎮火すればまた人の営みは続く。
人間は強い。
ということで、明日また現場近くに行くのです(笑)
