Chapter 6 Discussion: Honestly, I don't think social media negatively impacts only girls, it can happen to anybody. There's a lot of cyber bullying, deep fakes, and harassment going on in social media right now. And when people are on online too much, it has effect on their mental health. #TEC207

My peers and I all reminisced on how many outside games we would play such as hide and seek, sharks and minos, and tag. Kids now don't experiences these due to technology and often don't get to express imagination and free play with no worries about danger, which is crucial in childhood. #TEC207

In Chapter 3 of The Anxious Generation, I learned a lot about Discover Mode and Defend Mode and how it's shown in children. From the discussion today, I learned that while technology can be beneficial for school projects and communication, there is a risk of cyberbullying and predators. #TEC207
