As a Filipino-American who loved the Forgotten Island, I have unfollowed a lot of Asian-American content creators and filmmakers like Wong Fu because they state that they are all about Asians in Hollywood, but I didn’t see them once talk about this amazing film. #hypocrites #tayona

So, I watched Forgotten Island.

Does it get overstimulating? Sure

Did I give a fuck? Absolutely not

Jo & Raissa are BOTH my girls ❤️❤️ (I wanna give Jo a hug so bad tho 🫂)

8/10

SO fun!!!! It's not just my #Pinaypride talking; it's really well-made #edutainment that reflects a culture and its values 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 talking global issues and sentiments to boot. Think classics such as Book of Life and Princess Bride 🥰

Watched the movie with my siblings and it was amazing.

UPDATE: I cried 3 times. I even got emotional sharing my thoughts on the film with the reps.

It’s just so beautiful to see something so unapologetically Filipino come out of Hollywood while still conveying universal themes of friendship, nostalgia, and adventure.
