@zhuyueyan.bsky.socialFinished #againstthecurrent and it’s one of the best #cdramas about women livelihood in a time that binds them to old ways. An educated woman who survived her family was able to influence other women to find their own way to survive and become successful in life. 5 stars
@liztai.hachyderm.io.ap.brid.gyMy huge review of Against the Current. Huge because I wrote a lot and also because I am doing something a little controversial: Tackling a well-known CDrama reviewer's criticisms about the drama. :P

@danisdiary.bsky.socialYears ago, during the winter and at times of war, Jialan burned Jinqi’s secret, saved the Lin family (again) and stood by her husband. Now, at the height of summer and peaceful days, Jinqi burns her secret and chooses her (again) as his wife.
@danisdiary.bsky.socialJinqi is such an adorable dotting father. Look at him helping, all smiley, as he fans his daughter so she won’t feel the hot summer air while she sleeps.
@danisdiary.bsky.socialThis is one of the most joyous, heartwarming and fun childbirths in Dramaland. Jinqi is such a soft hearted man, he was so worried for Jialan and the baby, he fainted.
