Yeah, so, don't EVER order from Lieferando/Takeaway, because they support AI generated images and are saying that food stylists (aka real people who get paid for their job) are the same as AI, so I shouldn't be complaining :)
#lieferando #takeaway #antiAI #fuckAI

You have stated that AI-generated images are misleading because they depict food that "doesn't exist, never has existed and never will exist." However, this same criticism applies equally to traditional professional food photography, which has been the industry standard for decades. Companies like McDonald's, Burger King, and virtually every major food brand use extensively styled product images created by professional food stylists who employ techniques that make the food completely inedible. These techniques include using inedible substances like motor oil, hairspray, cardboard inserts, glue, and mashed potatoes styled to look like ice cream. The burgers and dishes photographed for advertisements are never eaten by anyone because they are constructed solely for visual appeal using non-food materials and toxic substances. (shortened)

The point we are making is not that such practices are ideal, but that they have been accepted industry practice for generations. Whether an appetizing image is created through AI generation or through traditional photography with inedible props and styling, the legal standard is the same: does the image accurately represent the ingredients and characteristics of the product the customer will actually receive? If a traditionally photographed burger shows cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a beef patty, and the delivered burger contains those same ingredients, there is no deception, even though the photographed burger was inedible and styled with tricks. The same principle applies to AI-generated images.

We don't support deceptive practices or scams. We support is accurate representation of products, regardless of the technology or method used to create the marketing images. If an AI-generated image shows ingredients that are not in the actual dish, we take immediate action. If a traditionally photographed image does the same, we take the same action. The technology used to create the image is irrelevant; what matters is truthfulness.

the ticket that comes off the roll is just the order. no email header eating the top third, columns still lined up, nothing clipped at the edge.

read it, make it.

your kitchen ticket printer is a printer. 80mm and 58mm rolls print email orders like any other page size.

orders in, tickets out, nobody presses print.
