Sage

Sage, heavenly scent,
Green soft leaves stacked in bundles,
Dried to flavor food.

Picked another six pounds from the gardens today; all hanging up to dry.

This year’s gourds hung up in butterfly house to dry; old ones taken down to be cleaned and carved into Jack-o-lanterns.
A yearly tradition here; they really do make great decorations that last forever.
No waste!
