Tesla unveiled a pre-production prototype of its next-generation Roadster developed in partnership with SpaceX. The vehicle replaces traditional rear seating with carbon-overwrapped pressure vessels storing compressed air at 10,000 PSI. Releasing this high-pressure air through precision electric actuators generates extreme bursts of thrust capable of launching the car from 0 to 60 mph in under one second.
