If anyone's used #Superbru for fantasy football leagues etc, looks like they've been hacked.

Here's an email that came my way.

Dear j, I'm writing to let you know about a security issue affecting some Superbru accounts, including yours. On Friday 9 October, someone misused a weakness in one of our apps to view some players' profile details. We spotted it while it was happening, shut it down within minutes of detecting it, and fixed the problem. The information potentially accessed from your account included your name, email address, country, Superbru username and date of birth. It also included some Superbru-related information including account information like which tournaments you're playing. What they couldn't see Your password was not exposed, nor any payment details. Your predictions, leagues, Superbru history and points are all safe. The Superbru website and apps were safe to use throughout the incident, and are safe now. What we've done We've fixed the vulnerability, checked the rest of our systems for similar issues, added additional monitoring, and reported the incident to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator. The ICO has reviewed our report and closed its case. We will continue to add further safeguards. What we'd ask you to do The main risk is that someone uses these details to send you fake emails pretending to be from Superbru, so please keep an eye out for anything suspicious. Superbru will never ask for your password or payment details by email. If an email asks you to click a link to log in, pay for something or 'confirm your account', don't click it. Go to our website or open our app directly instead. Genuine Superbru emails only come from email addresses ending in @superbru.com, @news.superbru.email, @account.superbru.email, @transaction.superbru.email, @reminders.superbru.email, @tournaments.superbru.email and @pools.superbru.email.
