the prodigal and the profane (a love story) cruellae (tinkabelladk) Summary: Aventurine and Robin chatted happily about wedding plans, and Sunday listened, playing the role of doting brother. But behind his placid facade, his mind was spinning. Aventurine had all the mannerisms of an Asadnan gentleman; someone had taught him well in the time since Sunday had known him as Kakavasha. Was Robin aware of his sordid past? Kind as she was, she wouldn't hold it against him nor judge him for it. Perhaps it didn't matter. "Aventurine" had clearly left that part of his life behind, buried it in the desert sands. Sunday owed him the courtesy of doing the same. or: sunturine AU in a Great Gatsby inspired setting
