Star Trek horror came up for today's Advent Calendar pick, and we wanted more fun and goofy spooky as opposed to terrifying, so Beverly Crusher being "haunted" by a candle ghost sounded about right for the occasion!

Deanna Troi looked concerned that Crusher thought that the parasitic ghost made her happy. Thanks for organizing this, @madonnaots.com #SubRosa #TNGSunNight #TOSSatNight

Ghosts AND Zombies?!! This is a great fall episode.

This episode is so fun to watch. As 30 Rock noted on reality TV, it can be really good or really bad, but it can't be anywhere in-between. This episode is one of those extremes, and I'm all here for it.

Beverly really is acting like she's an addict. She's a victim of the candle ghost's manipulation.

Couple thoughts:
Beverly dresses like a 1950s grandmother to bed
Why is she reading erotic chapters of her grandmother's journal
Star Trek meets Sex in the City fusion series - I'd watch it.

Gates McFadden's hair looks fabulous in this episode. Good enough to seduce a parasitic ghost candle lothario. #SubRosa #TNGSunNight #TOSSatNight
