Over two and a half years we’ve been submitting questions to the TVCA/STDC trying to highlight the lack of transparency. After falling into a hole of depression and wondering if any of what we’ve been doing has mattered this news breaks. A glimmer of hope finally. We press on.

But don’t worry, they are giving out pitiful grants and Boro tickets to locals to keep them onside courtesy of the Teesworks Benevolent Foundation.

Only in the Tees Valley would the combined authority choose to subsidise an airport for political capital for the Mayor rather than provide a functioning bus service. Absolutely outrageous. We deserve better.

Not sure what Labour are doing here. The Best Value Notice placed on the TVCA was extended from April this year and we’ve heard absolutely nothing about what the plan is moving forward.

Meanwhile the TVCA has failed to recruit its permanent statutory officers for another year.
