October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month! #SpreadLoveDC defines DV as: “A pattern of coercive and abusive behaviors used by an individual to gain or maintain power and control over another person in an intimate, dating, or formerly dating, family relationship, or a caregiver.” #DVAM
