Thoughts- Underwhelming in general. It’s not a bad whisky at all, but many of the old blended whisky miniatures I’ve tried recently have been better. I’d hoped this was going to be a good one, I’m disappointed if I’m honest. #oldminis #glenspey #speyroyal #8yowhisky

🏁- The finish is a non event really. It’s very short, continuing like the bulk of the palate, there’s no development at all. #oldminis #glenspey #speyroyal #8yowhisky

👅- All of the notes from the nose are here, oily flavours, it’s also a little spicy with white pepper and bitter lemon. The mouthfeel is thin, it’s very light in style. #oldminis #glenspey #speyroyal #8yowhisky

👃- Initially the nose is quit waxy, with some vegetal and mint notes. More time and it smells oily, linseed oil, faint stone fruits. On the first fresh sniff I get bubble gum, which instantly disappears. #oldminis #glenspey #speyroyal #8yowhisky
