ganked from SeattleFunEvents elsewhere:
"Possible delays on the :soundtransit_two_line: due to a four legged intruder on the tracks at Wilburton Station in Bellevue, WA" (14 October 2026)

Is it just me or do the multilingual onboard announcements about priority seating only fire when crossing the lake? I don’t think I’ve ever heard them on the 1 Line or any other segment of the 2 Line. #soundtransit
“WEST SEATTLE LIGHT RAIL: Sound Transit releases ‘flyover’ simulation” — West Seattle Blog...
I used to take the #SoundTransit 554 from #Bellevue to #Seattle, (which picked up w/in sight of my apt & dropped off at a series of 🛑s w/in sight of my eventual destinations), and I'd even snootily let #kcmetro 212s go by at the same stop 🙂↔️✋🚌
I think they've just deleted the 554 entirely 🤷♀️
Seattle urbanist friends,
Anybody work for or know someone who works for Sound Transit that might be willing to talk with me about Construction Manager roles? I'm working on applications for new, more local positions again.

The most important thing to do at a new light rail station opening in Seattle (other than getting a Boop but that line was already way too long)
I do not like the new #SoundTransit #Sounder cars… the bike parking is worse and I can’t even open my laptop anymore… 😤
But it’s new, so that’s cool ig
They’re just here to harass homeless people. They don’t generate any revenue. They’re horrible jobs, & the people who take them are either horrible or desperate, and once they do, soon both.
Fuck them. The broke shouldn’t be hassled about getting from place to place 😤
My new hobby is acting (not acting, I actually am) performatively visibly disgusted by the #SoundTransit ‘Fare Ambassador,’ to the point where everybody assumes I didn’t pay, & then when everyone’s shocked that my card shows I did, I go,”What? I paid. That doesn’t mean he’s not a useless asshole.”
😆
New #APTA Public Transit ridership data out. First full quarter for #SoundTransit Link at #1 light rail in USA, only behind Toronto including Canada.
& he said no, it’s a written receipt of this interaction (in which he said he didn’t have an ID & gave a fake name).
Why are we paying these fare ambassadors? They should be ashamed of themselves 1stly, & 2ndly, what a waste of money they are.
Ridiculous clown bitch 😆
lol! I have a subsidized annual ORCA pass, so I’m always fine, but I guess my buddy Kai didn’t pay for his fare (idgaf & don’t check, I’m not a train fare cop), and there was a “Fare Ambassador” who bailed him up.
He got a receipt, so I said, “Did you get a ticket??”
