#Russia has detained a #Japanese #journalist on suspicion of #espionage, accusing the reporter of gathering information on the country’s defense capabilities.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova identified the reporter as #Yuki #Imai, from the #Hokkaido #Shimbun newspaper.
