If you are on Catodon, Sharkey or Misskey, checkout the themes I created. Long story short Nyan Cat [search]is part of the inspiration. I got the night themes right on the first attempt IMO, but many of the day themes were trying to get it right.

A dark-themed user interface settings menu for the social media web application Catodon. On the left sidebar, navigation options like Timeline, Notifications, and Settings are listed under the user handle @Sproid. The central main panel shows appearance settings, featuring a light/dark mode toggle set to Dark, and a grid of theme options including "Nyan Trail Night" which is highlighted with a pink border. The right sidebar displays a calendar widget showing Wednesday, October 7, 2026, a Notifications card featuring an illustration of a pink cat with an eyepatch, and a list of trending hashtags like #science and #photography.

Gnampf!

New Catodon release, containing security patches that were released earlier today in Misskey 2026.9.1. Two of the vulnerabilities were reported by Catodon :B
Please update ASAP!
