Thinking of a few changes:

1) Make "custom url" mandatory and only allow changing it rarely. Show history of the custom url. To identify each account.
2) Make it forbidden to use in-game alt names in SQ/tournaments.

Update!

Voice chat is in beta (by @hfcred.dev). If you used Discord you should more or less know how this works. VC both on match & group level.

We also now support YT streams in addition to Twitch. Need to have #sendouink somewhere in the title/description for the stream to be picked up.

Headline is the new multi-step tournament form that features a visual bracket builder. We also have new formats with SE/DE groups. SE/DE can also now skip rounds (useful for qualifiers).

Also other misc tweaks and fixes, mostly related to Scanner.

Today's update!

@hfcred.dev put work in and overhauled the whole chat. Along a slew of fixes like fixing stacked chats for mobile he added:

- mentions
- stickers
- replies
- new message divider
- failed message retries
+ more!

In addition: scanner speed & correctness improvements.

Thank you for the great response to the scanner release yesterday!

Today's update adds Discord-like "crop/rotate/zoom" when uploading images. Scanner also now reads CB objective and X Rank powers. + fixed a bunch of Scanner related issues (tyvm people who reported!)

Thinking of adding ladder format support for sendou ink. What is good and bad about the implementation on the other sites (think e.g. Speed Ladder or those official tourneys)? I want to not only support it but also the one that is the best fit for this game & community.

sendou.ink update - September 20th 2026 New header status indicator - While you are in SendouQ or playing a tournament, the header shows what you have going on: your group filling up, likes received while in queue, ready checks, ongoing matches, scores waiting to be confirmed and bracket check-ins - It links straight to the right page and updates live as things happen, so you can freely browse the site while waiting Team picked map lists overhaul - Choose which modes teams pick maps for, Turf War included, and how many maps for each mode - Restrict team picks to SendouQ legal maps, all maps or a custom map pool - Tiebreaker map pool is gone: the deciding map is one both teams picked, or a random map from the pool neither team picked - Fix the mode order of team picked rounds when starting a bracket, e.g. every round starts with Splat Zones Tournament brackets page minor cleanup - The "waiting on match" status strip is gone since the header now shows the same - The Add sub button moved to your team's page - The Compactify toggle moved up into the bracket tab row, so the bracket now starts right below the tabs SendouQ score reporting is harder to get wrong by accident - The confirm button is now disabled for a few seconds before it can be pressed - Confirming a set now shows the score and the outcome for your team, and reporting a loss requires a double tap - Added a "Score is wrong" button which tells the other team in the match chat to undo their report - When someone else reports a map result while you have the "Action" tab open, the submit button is now disabled for ten seconds so you can't accidentally report the next map Filtering VODs by a weapon now shows each VOD's full weapon list, with the weapon you filtered by first Requeue with the same group after a canceled set, without the player both teams named as the cause of the cancellation Redesigned the tier list maker's tier editing popover & tier names now switch to white text on dark tier colors Team…

Feature exploration: clips in scanner (UI obv just placeholder)

Basically it reads in your kill streaks and saves a clip automatically off each based on how impressive it is (count, density, specials used/which?)

Then you can view them after your stream e.g. and upload.
