ā€œBut you know what, Hijikata-san? If there ever came a time where your life was in danger, and I have to come and save youā€¦ you know Iā€™ll never stop until I find you, donā€™t you? And Iā€™ll kill everyone who took you.ā€

Chapter 1: ingredients (xvtober2025 day 1) The more Noctis thinks about it, the less it becomes fun to watch Gladioā€™s bulk hunching down stop motion-style to be of service to Ignis who, anyway, is already on his knee, clawing the earth with his bare hands, tidiness be damned. ā€œWhatcha thinkinā€™, Noct?ā€ Maybe a true friend would withhold certain information. But anyway, he points at Ignis rising to his feet, a look of triumph on his face as he brushes the dirt off the man-looking root using his own two hands, then explains to Prompto, ā€œIf you think about it, we put that thing in our mouths.ā€Chapter 2: ancestors (xvtober2025 day 2) ā€œAnd who is that?ā€ ā€œWho?ā€ Prompto looks at Ignis funny. ā€œThatā€™s my grandfather! Heā€™s the same guy in this picture. Here, see?ā€ With a deft set of fingers, he brings them five pictures back in his camera roll, to that one where Prompto has convinced the old man to put up a pair of peace signs for their selfie. ā€œWeā€™re practically twins from the nose down!ā€ So he says. But, well, who is Ignis to tell him his grandfatherā€™s nose is quite obviously wider than his, and his chin much thinner? With a nod, Ignis concedes. ā€œYes. I see it.ā€Chapter 3: strong enemies (xvtober2024 day 3) Notes: it was between this or "hotel" from xvtober2023 so I figured I could just combine both šŸ˜‚ Chapter Text The flash of sunlight is Noctisā€™ signifier for war. Even with the blanket pulled from his clutches, he glares upon his oppressors. He wonā€™t falter, even though one of them is a man-shaped garula flexing his muscles, and the other is closer to a coeurl than a human being, nudging his glasses back. He knows their plan of attack, heā€™s been through this before. Unfortunately for him, heā€™s yet to succeed in escaping Ignis once heā€™s got his clutches on him. Not for the firstā€”or likely the lastā€”time, he leaves the hotel kicking and screaming on Gladioā€™s shoulder.

a tiny fic post for an evening where I only have a tiny energy and can only look at a tiny screen šŸ«¶šŸ¼ #livnomiburo #seaofolivesoriginal

3 truths: why yes I spent all night on this (tho to my defense, it was purposely an on the side thing), I meant to write smth else (no defense here), and I meant to post this last night (but it was late by the time I gave up on the formatting) (no defense here too)

a snippet of a short fic, cornflower blue serif text on a background of a riverbed underneath a dark overlay: By the setting sun Scales of silver gleaming gold Praise to Lord Ryujin ā€œHijikata-san? Hijikata-san.ā€ Soji is looking at him with blinking eyes, as round and bright as the golden disc gilding the horizon. Beads of moisture still cling to his skin, enough that he radiates where he lays by the riverbank, his head buoyed by his fist. a continuation from the last snippet with the same aesthetics: ā€œSomething on my face?ā€ Toshizo thinks he should come up with something witty here, but with all his words offered to the water deity, he could hardly hope to even utter anything with a shred of meaning in it. He couldnā€™t dare ask for them back, either, so he simply shakes his head. But, he does dare to receive this heavenly gift. To reach for him, as he asks of him, ā€œCome here. I want to be kissed by you.ā€the last part of the snippet, using the same aesthetics: Sojiā€™s smile surfaces easily. Toshizoā€™s hand slides along the column of his neck as Soji seals the gap between their lips, then shifts and tucks himself underneath Toshizoā€™s chin, drawing in his warmth when he encloses him in his entwined embrace. Toshizo swaddles him in his own arms, pressing his lips upon his wet crown. As one, they bask in the fading light of day, their own shadows conjoined upon the earth.
