Last day of the break, driving back to Hamilton. We visit Dornoch at least once a year, and I can't explain why. It just has a pull. A soft serve and a walk on the beach, and it didn't disappoint. 🍦

October break means a road trip north to Wick, where we're staying until Thursday. The drive took us through Pitlochry, Loch Morlich and Brora, and the views were epic, as always. Some journeys are as good as the destination. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Sundays are for rest and a family walk. Kept it local today with the oldest deep in schoolwork, but still found somewhere new — Calderglen Country Park in East Kilbride. A bit of green bathing and a brisk walk was exactly what we needed. 🌳
