#Formula1 has announced a landmark 10-year agreement to bring the FIA Formula One World Championship back to Africa, with the "Formula 1 African Grand Prix presented by Visit Rwanda", set to join the calendar in the early 2030s.

The last F1 race on that continent was at Kyalami in South Africa in 1993.

Rwanda will host the Grand Prix for at least 10 years and will be ready in the early 2030's.

Bugesera is about 40 kilometers from the capital Kigali and close to the international airport.
