Heavy rain when I set off this morning, I did have second thoughts, but it cleared up quickly and my gilet had to be discarded. Enjoyed the reflections, smells and sounds of a rainy run.

Nice early run. Planned a shorter 6 miles but it ended closer to 7 anyway. Enjoying this early running, few cars, and just a few folks/runners about. Running is my happy place where I can control the agenda.

Love these morning runs, better than the treadmill runs at the start of this holiday. I like the mix of greenway trails & urban running. Only downside is the inordinate time waiting at road crossings😠.

Early run in Charlotte, wonderful clear skies with Jupiter & the moon visible. Warm out, and a hilly route, made me a sweaty blob at the end. Knee still not perfect, likes the uphills not downhills. Good fun
