We are looking down the center of a river. The ground is relatively flat here, the slow current creates gentle ripples making interesting patterns in the reflections of trees along the riverbanks. Many of those trees along the banks lean out over the river, seeking more sun. The forest on both sides is decked in early autumn color, lots of yellowish green with touches of orange. Bright sunshine and shadows dapple the scene. The deep blue is visible through the canopy and mirrored on the river's surface.We are looking down the center of a river.
