@bernardjkd.bsky.social#SchlitzPlayhouseOfStars TV ep #2.43 "The Ledge" (26-Jun-53)..
This is so similar up top to #Dragnet TV ep #2.01 "The Big Jump" (11-Sep-52) that I expected Joe Friday to drop in.
Allene Roberts I know from 50's #Dragnet and Regis Toomey from #RichardDiamond TV.
@bernardjkd.bsky.social#LetGeorgeDoit Radio ep #208 "Cover For an Hour" (18-Sep-50).
Again I'm almost certain this was a #RichardDiamond Radio ep I've heard before or maybe a #TheWhistler Radio ep.
As ever scripts that get re-used on other shows do so because they're damn good. And this is.

@bernardjkd.bsky.social#SchlitzPlayhouseOfStars TV ep #2.02 "The Marriage of Lit-Lit" (12-Sep-52).
Finally a full ep. Introduced eventually by Donald Cook. So maybe they rotate the host presenter? Who knows?
Rita Moreno stars. Last seen in #RichardDiamond TV ep #4.04 (02-Aug-60).
@bernardjkd.bsky.social#SchlitzPlayhouseOfStars TV 1.33 cont'd.
The other goodie here is that man-eater Jean Carson is in it!
Now seen her 6 times:
#StudioOne TV #1.13 (11-May-49)
#StudioOne TV #1.19 (22-Jun-49)
#MartinKane TV #4.49 (28-May-53)
#InnerSanctum TV #1.00 (unaired 1954)
#RichardDiamond TV #3.02 (22-Feb-59)
@bernardjkd.bsky.social#LetGeorgeDoit Radio ep #189 "Picture With A Black Frame" (08-May-50).
Unsure about the black frame gag that George made, maybe some 1950 reference that's lost in time?
Certain this was a #RichardDiamond Radio ep but I've listened to so much now I can't trace exact eps!
@bernardjkd.bsky.social#LetGeorgeDoit Radio ep #184 "The Brothers MacIntosh" (03-Apr-50).
I liked this ep but it needs a re-listen. As I didn't pick up on a single clue!!
The show is determined not to let George kill. If this were #RichardDiamond he's have shot the baddie in that finale.
@bernardjkd.bsky.social#LetGeorgeDoit Radio 177 cont'd.
By the way Virginia Gregg did a lot better job replacing Frances Robinson here than Frances Robinson did replacing Virginia Gregg on #RichardDiamond. TBF Virginia Gregg is one of the top female radio actresses in history and Frances Robinson is more a movie actress.
@bernardjkd.bsky.social#LetGeorgeDoit Radio ep 176 cont'd.
It's driving me nuts as this story is used on another OTR show? Was it on #RichardDiamond? Yet I couldn't place the ep on my "Richard Diamond" walkthrough either which is so annoying!
But it is a fabulous ep both times.
@bernardjkd.bsky.social#LetGeorgeDoit Radio ep #176 "The Old Style" (06-Feb-50).
By the way I've just realised that right now Frances Robinson is temporarily replacing Virginia Gregg on #RichardDiamond over on NBC whilst Virginia Gregg is replacing Frances Robinson on this show on Mutual West Coast!
