Out Of The Blue - ELO.
Released in October 1977.
One of the essential albums from the 1970s. Any list of albums from then should include this. It's magnificent. The vinyl double album was beautiful.

Little Creatures - Talking Heads
Released in June 1985.
A masterpiece. Road to Nowhere is a huge attractor and gets most of the attention. Rightly. But I love every track on this album. It rewards you for listening to it as an album.

Released in November 1972.
I first saw Hawkwind on TV singing a song called Quark, Strangeness & Charm on the ITV How Show. As a science nerd into rock music, I was hooked.
