I think it was the right call. The #refs already deemed the contact disrupted the goalie.

& the video evidence only confirms the contact.

Low probability they reverse their decision.

I hate to be devil’s advocate (or do I? 😏), but the broadcast doesn’t have every angle they look at.

And they did say “After video review, the puck didn’t completely cross the goal line.”

Was it conclusive? Only the #refs know for sure. But that statement suggests it was.

From what I heard, the situation room signaled the #refs on the ice.

Rule 38.3 - in the last minute of regulation and in OT, the situation room automatically conducts a review.

#Refs, you can’t have it both ways.

If a bump on the opposite side of a goalie (to where the puck went in) affects his ability to play the puck, then that has to be the standard.

But there were a couple of examples last year where the goalie was bumped, but deemed it didn’t affect the play.
