More guitar-driven noise from a fun Tuesday night in Gothenburg. The Ruts warmed up the crowd for The Undertones. Or rather, Ruts DC, to be precise. They closed with brilliance: "In a Rut," "Babylon's Burning," and "Staring At The Rude Boys."

Paul McLoone is no Feargal Sharkey, but he really impressed me this Tuesday night when The Undertones played at Pustervik in Gothenburg. The Northern Irish band’s hallmarks live on. That is largely thanks to Paul.
