Honestly, I feel like "kinda electrifying to fight fascism" is stronger than "kinda chic to fight fascism" because it directly references Doug's electrokinesis.

ANYWAY...

Digital illustration of Doug generating lightning bolts. The text on the top left and and the bottom right read (while they are inverted), "Kind of electrifying to fight fascism"

I'm referencing a Guerrilla Girls picture: "The Advantages of Being a Woman Artist."

It's a #CritiqueWanted post, so if there's anything you want to say, go for it.

Digital illustration of Aster Nebulosa, a genderfluid, autistic, and bisexual Celivarian pointing to the large black text that reads, "THE ADVANTAGES OF BEING A GENDERFLUID AND AUTISTIC HERO:". The smaller black text reads in bullet points: "Working in an inclusive environment, having accomodations, being included in missions, not having to endure discrimination, being able to stim without judgement".
The black text on the top right reads, "Hearts4Mxnty".

I also took inspiration from Bluffington, the setting of Jim Jinkins' animated series Doug (1991), and that show is PEAK.

OR better yet, create your OWN magical story! Kind of like what I am doing right now with Propono (not exactly witches and wizards, but it does involve queer superheroes!).

With that being said, TRANS LIVES MATTER MORE THAN HARRY POTTER.

Digital illustration of Doug and Aster blushing as they are holding each other. On their faces, they have their respective identities: Genderfluid, bisexual, and Autistic for Aster and Pansexual for Doug. Behind is a purple heart with sunset-themed lights. Below them is a magenta floor and behind all that is a starry sky. The white text on the top right reads, "Hearts4Mxnty."

The reference image in question is from the short film "In a Heartbeat."

Aster has a reminder:

Autistic people are PEOPLE, not puzzles.

Just for context, the puzzle piece is affiliated with Autism Speaks, an organization that silences autistic voices and HARMS autistic individuals (and possibly other disabled people).

Not quite a year ago, I came across Mason Earwood's artworks. The toon overlays were my favorite, so I figured, why not do some toon overlay with my OCS?

Overall, I'm happy with how this turned out!
