In 1992, Profile Records’ Vallejo, California, Chicano rap duo N2Deep earned US #OneHitWonder honors when their laid-back, West Coast groovin’ “Back to the Hotel” spent 22 weeks on the US #Billboard #Top40, peaking at #14. #ProfileRecords #N2Deep #OneHitWondered #MusicSky

Interestingly, Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock had already developed their breakthrough record before signing… The duo brought a demo of “It Takes Two” to Profile Records, and it sealed the deal, so to speak. Profile gave it the reach to travel far beyond Harlem. #ProfileRecords #OneHitWondered #MusicSky
